Family Medicine Opportunity

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 500+ provider multi-specialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join an established group of providers in a brand-new, 45,000+ square foot facility opening in 2024. We are open to full or part time practitioners - let us know your desired FTE!

We are seeking multiple new physicians for this location and would welcome residents who are training together currently and would like to continue to practice together! Providers who are available prior to 2024 will have the option of working at an existing SAMG clinic before transitioning to the new Caldwell Health Plaza clinic once construction is complete. 

Saint Alphonsus Caldwell Health Plaza will serve the community members seeking wellness, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation in a convenient and accessible environment, located directly off I-84. With comprehensive healthcare services offered for the whole family, it will offer a multitude of services in one convenient location including: Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Occupational Medicine, Diabetes Care & Education, Sleep Medicine, Orthopedics, Heart Care, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and onsite Lab and X-ray.

Full time practitioners can expect 34 patient contact hours/week with the option for a 4 or 5 day work week. Practice call is shared with other eligible FM providers (approximately 1:18). 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Have successfully completed an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program
  • Be Board Certified through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) (or will obtain such certification within 3 years of employment)
  • Be eligible to obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases including valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy and DEA
